i have a serious question; doesn't it make you feel a bit queasy using the language of "branding" - which is a language built for the capitalist word, a word that implies style over substance, which implies the customer buying something without knowing who or what (such as poor folks in the browner regions of the world) created that product - in thinking about yourself? i agree that outlook, personality, etc are important as we move about our world, but i'm super hesitant to ever use a word like my "personal brand" because that means i'm literally buying into the same shit the folks on top use to keep us down. just my thoughts.
