Our first Hot Grrrls Cool Music event was as fresh as ever. The inaugural showcase, held in NYC at Shine, featured live performances by four of the most dynamic and exciting ladies in music—Santi White (aka Santigold), Jeni Fujita, Imani Uzuri, and Vinia Mojica.

Hot Grrrls Cool Music was a huge success that brought together a number of music lovin’ tastemakers including comedian/ actor Dave Chappelle, veteran modeling agent/ activist Bethann Hardison, hip hop’s dead prez, journalist/ author Touré and Rock Steady Crew president, Crazy Legs. It was the ultimate music showcase that had the club rocking, popping, and swaying all night long.
